About Palworld

Palworld is an open-world survival crafting game developed by Pocketpair. It launched in Early Access in January 2024 and quickly became one of the most-played games on Steam, peaking at over 2 million concurrent players. The game blends creature collecting, base building, farming, and combat in a colorful open world populated by over 100 unique creatures called Pals.

Players capture Pals to assist with gathering resources, crafting items, defending bases, and fighting enemies. The breeding system allows combining Pals to produce offspring with inherited traits, creating a deep optimization layer. With 358,000+ positive reviews on Steam and 50–100 million estimated owners, Palworld has one of the largest player bases on the platform.

The 1.0 full release on July 10, 2026 marks the end of Early Access. Pocketpair has confirmed new content including the World Tree region, new Pals, PvP mode, endgame progression, and extensive quality-of-life improvements. Players returning for 1.0 will find significant changes from the Early Access versions our guides originally covered.
