Should You Have Pulled Cyrene? HSR 4.3 Rerun Pull Value Guide
Should You Have Pulled Cyrene? HSR 4.3 Rerun Pull Value Guide
Version 4.3's second phase brought two of the Amphoreus arc's most important Chrysos Heirs back to the warp — and Cyrene, the Daughter of Aedes Elysiae, was arguably the more strategically valuable of the pair. Her rerun banner ran June 24 through July 14, 2026 alongside Phainon. The banner has now ended, so this is a retrospective breakdown of what Cyrene does, where she fits in the current meta, and whether she's worth bookmarking for her next return.
This is a "should you pull / should you have pulled" guide. Cyrene remains one of the most impactful supports in Honkai: Star Rail, and her long-term value only grows as more Chrysos Heirs release.
Character Overview
- Rarity: 5★
- Path: Remembrance
- Element: Ice
- Faction: Chrysos Heirs (Amphoreus)
- Origin: Aedes Elysiae — the remote frontier village she shares with Phainon
- Release: Version 3.7; first rerun in Version 4.3 Phase 2
- Signature Light Cone: This Love, Forever (5★ Remembrance)
Cyrene is the emotional and mechanical heart of the Amphoreus support roster. As a Remembrance character she doesn't deal the killing blows herself — instead she summons a memosprite called Demiurge and orchestrates the entire team's damage output through a unique combination of True DMG zones, team-wide CRIT buffs, and a once-per-combat "auto-cast everyone's Ultimate" mechanic. Lore-wise she's tied to Aedes Elysiae's tragedy and to Phainon's story, and that relationship is reflected directly in her kit.
Kit Summary
Cyrene plays like a conductor: she builds a resource called Recollection, spends it to amplify the team, and her memosprite Demiurge acts as an untargetable buff and damage engine.
- Basic ATK — "Lo, Hope Takes Flight!" Single-target Ice damage; generates Recollection.
- Enhanced Basic ATK — "To Love and Tomorrow ♪" An AoE alternative that generates more Recollection but doesn't refund a Skill Point — useful when you're resource-rich and want to accelerate.
- Skill — "Bloom, Elysium of Beyond" Her bread and butter. Deploys a Zone that grants 24% True DMG on every single damage instance your team deals for 2 turns. Because True DMG ignores defense and resistance, this scales absurdly well with multi-hit and follow-up attackers.
- Ultimate — "Verse ◦ Vow ∞" (24 Recollection) Her signature nuke-support play. Summons Demiurge, grants it an extra turn, automatically activates all teammates' Ultimates, and enters a state that gives herself and Demiurge a permanent +50% CRIT Rate plus a permanent True-DMG Zone. This fires once per combat, so you want to trigger it at the moment your team is fully buffed.
- Follow-up Ultimate — "Reunion at First Sight" (12 Recollection) A cheaper follow-up that grants Demiurge an extra turn after the opening Ultimate.
- Talent — "Hearts Gather as One" Every ally gains a "Future" mark; when they act, they feed Cyrene Recollection, and the whole team deals +20% more damage while she's on the field.
- Technique — "Peace at West Wind's End" Before combat she opens a dimension that freezes enemies and speeds up allies (+50% movement), and her Skill Zone auto-deploys when fighting starts.
Memosprite: Demiurge
Demiurge is what makes Cyrene premium. It has 0 SPD (it only acts when granted turns), is Out-of-Bounds (enemies cannot target it), shares HP with Cyrene, grants +24% Max HP to both while active, and cleanses crowd control on summon. Its skills include an AoE Ice attack and a buff that grants +40% damage to non-Chrysos allies — or specially tailored buffs to Chrysos Heirs.
The "Ode" System — Curated Per-Character Buffs
This is Cyrene's most distinctive feature and the reason her long-term value is so high. She grants each Chrysos Heir a uniquely curated "Ode" buff. The standout is Ode to Worldbearing, designed specifically for Phainon/Khaslana: it grants Coreflames, an "Eternal Ignition" transformation state, CRIT scaling, refreshed extra turns, and Fire additional-damage instances. In other words, Cyrene doesn't just "support Phainon" generically — she was literally built to unlock his ceiling.
Key Eidolons
- E0 (base): Already a complete, meta-defining support. Most players should stop here.
- E2: A significant bump to her damage amplification — the comfortable "low spender" sweet spot if you want more throughput.
- E6: The whale ceiling — turns Demiurge into a genuine damage source and maximizes her personal output. Powerful, but not required for her to do her job.
Signature Light Cone: This Love, Forever
This Love, Forever is a 5★ Remembrance cone that grants SPD%, an enemy damage-taken vulnerability debuff ("Blank"), and an ally CRIT DMG buff ("Verse"), with a bonus when both are active. It's a clean, strong fit that amplifies everything Cyrene wants to do.
Is it necessary? No. Cyrene functions excellently on the craftable and standard Remembrance options. The signature cone is roughly a 10–15% overall upgrade and is worth pulling only if you're already going deep on her (E2+) or you have leftover Oneiric Shards. Most F2P players should let it ride.
Pull Value Assessment
For F2P Players
Cyrene is one of the rare 5★ supports who is fully functional at E0 with free gear. Her core loop — Skill Zone for True DMG, Talent team-buff, Ultimate auto-cast — needs no dupes and no signature cone to clear endgame. If you have any Chrysos Heirs (especially Phainon), she multiplies their damage for free. High value; pull on sight when she returns.
For Low Spenders (Express Pass / monthly)
Same conclusion, but consider E0 + skip the cone and bank your jade for the next meta DPS. If you main Amphoreus teams, E2 is the sensible ceiling — it's where her buffs transition from "great" to "best-in-slot."
For Whales / Completionists
E2S1 is the practical sweet spot. E6 is a luxury that raises her personal damage meaningfully but doesn't change her role. Whales building the definitive Amphoreus account should target E2S1 Cyrene alongside Phainon — the pair is designed to peak together.
Team Compositions
- The Aedes Elysiae Core: Phainon + Cyrene + a sustain (Huohuo / Lingsha / a Preservation healer) + a flex buffer (Sunday / Robin). Cyrene's Ode to Worldbearing makes this Phainon's strongest home by a wide margin.
- Chrysos Multi-DPS: Aglaea / Mydei / Castorice-style Chrysos attackers + Cyrene + sustain. Her per-character Odes mean every Chrysos on the team gets a tailored buff.
- General True-DMG Hypercarry: Any multi-hit or follow-up DPS (Feixiao, Acheron, Jing Yuan) + Cyrene + Robin + sustain. Her 24% True-DMG-per-instance Zone loves attack-heavy comps.
Cyrene vs Alternatives
Compared to other Remembrance supports:
- vs. Tribbie: Tribbie is a Remembrance sub-DPS/buffer that contributes her own damage; Cyrene is the purer amplifier with the auto-Ultimate and True-DMG Zone. They can even run together.
- vs. RMC (Remembrance Trailblazer): RMC is the free option and a legitimate buffer — but lacks Cyrene's Zone, memosprite, and the Chrysos-specific Ode system. If you only run one Amphoreus DPS and are tight on jade, RMC can substitute. If you run Phainon or multiple Chrysos Heirs, Cyrene pulls clearly ahead.
- vs. Sunday / Harmony buffers: Sunday is a single-target hyper-buffer; Cyrene is team-wide with unique ultimate-trigger utility. Different niches — Cyrene's value is in enabling the whole squad, not buffing one carry.
The bottom line: Cyrene doesn't fully replace any single character because her True-DMG Zone + ultimate-trigger is unique. She's a multiplier you slot in to make everyone else better.
Build Snapshot: Relics & Main Stats
Because Cyrene's memosprite Demiurge shares her HP pool and her buffs scale with her being active and acting early, her build balances survivability, speed, and amplification:
- Body: CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG. Her Ultimate grants a permanent +50% CRIT Rate to herself and Demiurge, so once you're near the cap, lean CRIT DMG.
- Boots: SPD — she wants to move first to drop her Zone and start feeding Recollection.
- Planar Sphere: HP% (Demiurge and several buffs scale with her Max HP) or Ice DMG if you're pushing personal damage.
- Link Rope: HP% or Energy Regen to keep her Ultimate cadence smooth.
- Substat priority: SPD > CRIT > HP% > Effect RES > ATK%.
Set choices: Run your best Remembrance / support-focused 4-piece; a CRIT- or HP-stacking 2+2 is a perfectly fine interim. You do not need her signature cone — a craftable Remembrance cone keeps her competitive at E0.
Strengths & Watch-Outs
Strengths: Best-in-class team amplification; the 24% True-DMG-per-instance Zone scales with every multi-hit ally; her Ultimate auto-casts teammates' Ultimates for explosive opening turns; unique per-Chrysos "Ode" buffs make her future-proof as Amphoreus grows; Demiurge is untargetable and cleanses crowd control.
Watch-outs: Her Ultimate's auto-cast is once per combat, so positioning it matters — fire it when the team is fully buffed, not on turn one blindly. She's a pure amplifier, so if your account needs raw damage rather than a multiplier, a DPS unit may be the better pick. And while she's great at E0, her signature cone is a noticeable (if non-essential) upgrade.
Verdict: Pull or Skip?
Verdict: Pull (when she returns). Cyrene is one of the highest-utility supports in Honkai: Star Rail — a meta-defining amplifier whose value scales with every Chrysos Heir you own and who has no true equal at E0. The 4.3 Phase 2 banner has ended, but she's exactly the kind of unit worth saving jades for on her next rerun, especially if you run Phainon.
If you already pulled her: you made the right call — build her and watch your Amphoreus teams transform. If you skipped her for Phainon instead: defensible, but bookmark her for next time.
